1969 GTX vert - 04/17/24 05:53 PM

R6 with tan / white interior 4 spd car has to be pretty rare

I looked at this car maybe 20-25 years ago in Columbus Ohio area

It was a lot cheaper then

That's the weirdest color combo I've ever seen.
And yeah, they - and everything else - was a lot less expensive back then.
The Dollar, increasing rarity, and a couple other factors have really made for a different world.
Back in '86 I bought my '68 Hemi 4-spd RR for $4,000 and drove it 450 miles home.
Sure, it used 4 quarts of oil on the trip & needed a restoration, but it was complete & rust-free.
Multiply by at least 10 for 2024, and you can get that rusted-out GTX in the other thread.

Thanks for posting. I have never seen that interior combo before. I kinda like it. Not sure on the bronze upper door paint- would have to see under real lighting.

I purchased this car in 2003 from a dealership in Mansfield Ohio sold it to a friend, bought it back when he needed cash, then traded it to another buddy for a Cuda. I always wondered where it went. Interestingly, it didn't have it's original engine when any of the three of us owned it. Now it does?

I looked at it early 90s timeframe.
Sometime later it was in the Las Vegas area.
Thats was the last I knew of it until I saw it listed earlier today

I’ve never seen an interior like that.

The lower stripe looks too low, decode sheet shows that was deleted anyway.

Now now. Hand stamped blocks are totally normal and if we discuss it and the owner gets mad, an attack dog will be dispatched to threaten legal action. We’ve had that soap opera on here before.

I believe it went to New York? after it left Las Vegas, now in Florida with a poorly stamped block scope looks like somebody didn't like the red drums I painted up for it

I remember when this car was in Vegas too. I spoke to the owner and I think he told me the car came out of ATL at some point. Funny thing was I was in ATL at the time.
I was chasing a 69 GTX 4 speed Vert hard back then. I think I knew where jus about where everyone of them were for sale, and you just did not see them a lot. This was about 20 years ago or so.

They haven't change too much in pricing over the years.
I always thought they were not a bad buy. B Body Vert 440. 4 speed with a Dana. RR verts always pulled close $.
I guess more people like RR's. Rare does not mean more $.
