Cool car, with only 126 miles and an SRT-4 limited edition, the price will a lot higher than your average Neon, that's for sure

Bid is up to $30k ...gotta be the best example of that particular Neon left today in the world 🌎

Still seems like a ton of money for just a Neon. Dirt track here in Michigan had a class that was mostly being run with junk Neons, which is where it seemed most fitting for them to go to die. $30K and climbing just seems like crazy money. Now...if the guy had a super low mileage Yugo with original air still in the tires....then he might have something.

Those SRT-4s were $20k + new in '05 plus tax, license, etc. Given inflation, they would be losing money at $30k today.

I have the 05 Viper version also #58 the Viper has 5,700 miles on it. they made 200 srt Neons 200 srt 10 Rams and 100 srt Vipers in that commemorative edition.

To each their own, right? So someone else here mentioned price new nearly 20 years ago and relation to inflation etc,... my first new car was a 05 ACR srt4. They made 1100 of these. That model had a lot of different add ons than a stock srt4. The "viper"? Editions were just a sticker package like mopar did way back. Just my opinion, nothing special about them at all. But for someone to say they are just neons is like saying a red eye charger is like an sxt charger. Uhm, no way man. Its clear you've been brainwashed and never driven one of these before. Yeah, I know, were all tough guys who won't admit a 4 cylinder from the factory was faster than our 426 from the factory. Let's just enjoy mopars again men.

My son has had several SRT-4s over the years. Most stock, a couple modded. They are QUICK! Stock, they would run with a lightly warmed 360 that I had in a Scamp. But the boy always wanted to run from a 'roll'. The '05s had a Quaife limited slip stock, but the transaxle would only take so many hard launches before giving up. Surprisingly, before '05 the diff was open. Didn't make much sense, but then, none of my automatic '71 GTXs ever had Sure Grips either. I always thought that was weird.

The boy's favorite SRT-4 was an orange ACR. In fact, he owned it twice. Cool little car. But it was still a front wheel drive 4 banger at the end of the day.

I have told my son many times over the years; you are half the man I hoped you would be, you are into 4 bangers rather than V8s.
