Not QUITE the venue for selling this hi-dollar car, but I guess it's more for advertisement.

$2.75M is a stretch. Probably can sell it for $2M.

Quote from the auction text;

Quote
It is a verified, by Dave Wise, all matching numbers drivetrain.

And yet, it sounds like the transmission stamp was done by hand & in doubt? So how is it marked 'numbers matching' ? shruggy

Also note the comment at the bottom of this section about matching numbers & 'applied by the factory'. shock

Does anyone have photos of the VIN stamps on this car?

Yeah, well..... Bob.

On the other hand, the sales commission through eBay is a whole lot less than any of the auction houses, AND no 10+% penalty to the buyer.

Is that the one Bill Wyman once owned? He had several '71 HemiCuda's.

I was told that Dave Wise was no longer allowed to judge at the MCACN Show due to some of his actions on certifying/judging cars.
Has anyone else heard that?

I haven't heard that - but my old Hemi RR suddenly turned into a #s car at B-J, and they claimed he'd inspected the car.
Whether he inspected the car or not, or personally made that statement, I can't say - but the B-J staff said so on national TV.
It was a legit car, but I know every square inch of it, and it was definitely not #s matching...

I've seen the fastener books & etc and the guy seems to know his stuff, to be fair.
