1962/1963 era Period Correct B/RB

I'm putting together a period correct 1962 or 1963 era B/RB engine for a 1931 Ford Coupe hot rod I'm building. I have some great parts collected already for it, but I've been wondering.

What is the best cylinder head casting I should be looking for?

Remember, I will only be able to use the 4 bolt valve cover heads, and currently the Max Wedge heads are out of my price range.

Induction will likely be a 2x4, although I have an NOS three Stromberg manifold which is tempting...

You can bolt the 4 bolt covers onto the late model 6 bolt heads, you just won't have bolts in the two bottom head bolt holes. The gaskets will seal the holes closed. Then you can use the much better later heads, unless you really need to stay with the 4 bolt heads. I doubt any 4 bolt heads are any better then any other 4 bolt head. Gene

What casting number heads would the 400 horse 1962 Chrysler 300 413 with two 4bbl carbs have? These wouldn't be Max Wedge heads right?

Fsh, those are three ECG5 Holley 94s for show, I have a few 97s and 48s I could use. Three of them wouldn't adequately feed a B/RB, you're right, as a trio I think they'd only come in a total of about 600 or so CFM!

Kinda why I'm thinking about running the 2x4. I'd love a Weiand Drag Star 6x2 setup, but they don't come up for sale everyday and the last couple I've seen people wouldn't split the carbs and manifolds up.

The best head of that era, excluding max wedge, would be the head used on the 1963 Chrysler 300J. These would have the larger 1.74" exhaust valve. Casting number is 2402557.
