Member's Rides

Saw some member's rides mixed in with the photo thread - thought it might be nice to start a tread with only member's cars.

Here's mine - '53 Coronet. I found it for sale here six years ago.

Ok. I'm in. Here is a picture of both my rides. The big blue truck is my daily driver (as much as one whom works at home drives) and is a 50 Dodge on an 80 Dodge 4x4 chassis. The one on the trailer is my project, it is a 48 Plymouth business coupe mounted on a Dakota chassis. The coupe is in process, it will be a street version of an old dirt track racer like they ran on our local track back in the mid 60s. It will have a roll cage and nerf bars, but will be a complete drivable car. I intend on driving it year around when I get it done. It will retain the Dakota efi 3.9 V6 and 5 speed. It is progressing along ever so slowly. Originally it was suppose to be on the road this year, but at this point, it doesn't look like that will happen, maybe next year. Gene

I did this one for a change of pace- I have some muscle era mopars I usually am working on.

53 Coronet convertible. Recently purchased from family of original owners. Very early build; might be the oldest Dodge hemi ragtop in existence.

Nice the 53-54 bodies start out with an early lead, surprised to see 3 in here so soon.

Here's another. It was bought by Mopararmy and I delivered it to him in Texas a few yrs ago.

She loves purple and four doors, one of her nicknames is "Little Miss More Doors".

All stock except brakes.

My 1940 Plymouth P-10 Road King Business Coupe.
318 magnum/518 trans/8.75 3.91 sure grip.
Power 4 wheel discs, dropped uprights and shock relocation.
Long-term project that has been on the back burner for too long.
