Not a pickup, but one for the Forward Look Desoto crowd.

He only sells the older fairly complete vehicles as whole, no parts. I was really looking for an older truck body to mount on my 89 4x4 long bed frame and drive train. I haven't taken dimensions, so I don't know what challenges the swap would be yet. The first truck pictured had a really long bed. Most of the trucks are fairly solid considering their age. They may be overpriced at $2000 each. Any ideas on the swap problems ?

You could still get a Plymouth PU in 41. They sold 6,073 of them. You could also just by the cab on chassis if you wanted to put on your special-purpose body. No production run numbers for them.

In 40 they made 6879 PU's and 174 Cab on chassis.
They sold for $585.

I'd take a few of those of $585. I wouldn't mind having an old stock truck like those, just to drive around town.
