Plymouth Savoy, what to save - 08/07/08 05:31 PM

have a 1953 4 door down the barn, dad drove it in years ago, has Flathead 6, with a 3 speed on the column, the one you could use the clutch or not.

So car is trashed, I am stripping it for scrap.

Should I keep the motor and tranny? Also has some small chrome stuff and the door handels are like new?

Don't see many of these around, and I am a pack rat at heart, so keep stuff or scrap it?

Well you should probably get in contact with the Plymouth 4 and 6 Cylinder club, used to be run by Jim Benjaminson. Do a google search and you may find them. As far as that stuff on this board, I doubt you could give it away! Sorry, but that's my opinion.

Try HAMB and plymouth sites. No one is going to reproduce that stuff, and even at 200 a ton, you could give all the trim away and only lose a soda or 2. Make someone's day....

Try the P15 D24 site, theres a classifieds part, lots of great guys who could use flathead or trim parts.
