I did question a NSRA Rep about a "Mopar in Mopar" as they have a "Chevy in Chevy" and a "Ford in Ford" display. Was told that because it has been done this way for so many years that it will not change.
The NSRA Rep is a true Mopar guy too.

Maybe if Ma Mopar was the " Mopar Country" sponsor it might be different. Yes, probably 60% of cars in Mopar country are powered by others or
other body with Mopar drivetrain.

I believe that Mopar performance sponcers mopar country .. I have had that talk with them many times and they have said that that is how it was set up many years ago and they want as many cars as they can get. My issue with it is not so much the other powered mopars in mopar country(yes I would rather see mopar powered mopars) but I have a problem with them giving the top 5 mopar awards to chevy powered mopar
mopar sponcers it, make the rules say to win the top 5 mopar award you "HAVE" to be mopar bodied "AND" mopar powered, simple enough Ron...

May be on the sponsor, don't know. I think it could still be done as is but include "Mopar in a Mopar" into the segement.
In my opinion and mine only, I think the car should at least be Mopar bodied.
IM glad they have it included in the show as it gives you the oppertunity to see many cars you might miss spread among the 10,000 + entries.

There were a number of Mopar bodied cars I saw that do not even participate in "Mopar Country" on the grounds. I saw 2 beautiful Airflow's on the grounds.

Another great event.
