Fenders or not?

Ford stuff seams to be the current "in" thing, but I'd perfer the parrelle leaf spring Mopar setup, or more likely would install an independent suspension.

That said, I recently bought a 70 Dodge pickup frame complete with the leafs and beam axle (slant 6 too ), so guess what the next one will probably be? Gene

I'm using a 32 Ford style in my 34 Dodge Highboy. I just think it looks better when you can see everything.

I have a couple of late 40's early 50's Dodge truck straight axle setups one of which I would like to use on an early fenders roadster or roadster truck.

I used the original straight axle(which really is not straight), disc brake set up from Plydo. The disc set up uses a press on bushing for the disc which is 69 Ford Fairlane to get the Mopar bolt pattern. The brake bracket uses full size late 70's GM caliper which can be replaced with Wilwoods GMIII
caliper. The springs are mono leafs from Butch.s Rod shop(link below). Hope this helps!
