Dave here is a 26-27? dodge roadster that me and a friend built about 10 years ago and I found these pics of it.
it has a BB mopar in it a mustang II frontend and a B body 8 3/4
they are pretty rare and hard to find. Ron...

Did you find a real Dodge "T" bucket or are you just WANTING one? Did Dodge build that body style?
Wasn't there a shortened Dodge touring car featured in one of the major Mopar mags a while back? As in shortened into a "T" bucket... Looks like that "roadster pickup" above might actually be a shortened touring car body too. Shorten a touring car body and you can keep it long enough to have some LEG room.

All a "T" bucket is, is a ford model "T" roadster PU with the bed really shortened up.
so any roadster PU can be made to resemble a ford T bucket.
I don't know if Dave found a roadster or a roadster PU body.
but the roadster PU I posted above is pretty close to what a dodge would look like. Ron...

What I was really trying to ask, and did a poor job of is--did Dodge build an actual bucket-style body style or were they all more like the '29 Ford with an integral "turtle deck"? Like the '26-'27 Dodge you built with your buddy...

I found this. I have asked for more pics
from the owner. Its not close or I would have gone and looked at it. SO, YOUR GUESS IS AS GOOD AS MINE!

That small-ass image sure don't help!
Shoot, you can't even recognize anything there that identifies it as a Dodge... that said, I would LOVE to build a T-bucket style Dodge too. Shoot, that roadster pickup shown above is way cool too with some changes--like the right mill under the hood for starters!

I cant find any pics of any but I believe that dodge DID make roadsters and roadster PU's in the 20's
like I said a T bucket is a roadster PU with a very short bed
so if you had a dodge roadster PU you could shorten the bed for it to look like a "T" bucket

According to: Standard Catalog of Chrysler 1924-1990, Dodge made an extreemely rare 1929-1930 roadster pickup, but all they had was a picture from Chrysler with no production numbers or no proof that more then the 1 pictured was ever built. Gene

Wow, that's cool and in a LONG lifetime of going to car shows and being in car clubs I have NEVER seen or heard of one. Gotta be a rare beast!

Looks like an earlier year than the one above--rounded door bottoms, bigger windshield etc...

Make it a hoodless! With a hopped up /6 and a hyperpack intake(long runner)! That'd be way cool

I am working on a 1919 roadster project now. Yes Dodge made small roadsters with a square turtle deck on back much like the fords only a little bigger. The 1916 to 1922 were smaller like a T roadster then they made them larger with a rounded trunk on them. Dodges are cool with a full leaf spring on the bottom and a half leaf off the frame on the top for extra good ride! Do a search on the net for a 1916-1922 dodge roadsters and you will see pictures of them.
