QA1 coil overs.

So, is this shock mounted up-side-down, or does it make a difference?

to me, "upside down" would mean the oil reservoir would be at the top. thinking that, your mounting would be "rightside up". in other words, your mounting would be considered normal. i know in the racing world, mounting them upside down reduces unsprung weight, and some shocks are designed to be mounted that way. afco [i think] says it doesn't matter which way you mount them, and some will not work mounted upside down because of the way the internals are designed. now that i've totally muddied the waters for you, why do you ask ?

I'm pretty sure it doesn't make a difference with these shocks, but can't seem to find a definitive answer. I have mounted them both ways and it doesn't seem to make a difference ( seat of the pants wise ). Just thought someone on here might know for sure. Been on QA1 and Carrillo web sights and no help.

I have QA1s and they are mounted the same as your picture.
