I was over on another forum and a guy posted a link to help ID an early Dodge.
This site has some great stuff, so look at the rest too, but here is a link for early serial numbers and locations.

I went to the above site and found the range my truck number is in, but it only said 41-47. Any other sites where I can find out my year? The serial no is 81165XXX. Thanks- Pat

That site not only verified that my 37 was a 37 but that it was built in LA

That site showed me that my '37 is a '36! Now I'm not even certain that it's a Plymouth!
