33 radiator??? - 11/08/15 03:28 PM
Hi guys. Where do you guys suggest I get a radiator with a trans cooler in it? Or even one without? Its for a 33 Plymouth. Also how about a spot to get the door glass? The glass in my dad's 33 Plymouth seems sloppy, almost like its not long enough front to back, and it seems to bind a little as is goes up. Thanks, Clint

http://www.prchotrod.com/They will build a radiator to your specs , they will build a shroud with a Spal fan built in . They built the radiator for my '38 , it cools great with my 408 .

My 33 is not a stock configuration ( cowl is laid back farther than stock and top is chopped ), but I used a Speedway aluminum 32 Ford Rad. that I had to make some miner mods to ( upper tank)for it to fit my application. On the door glass, just make yourself a cardboard template that fits your glass runners and take it to your local glass company and they can cut it for you.

Thanks guys. Crizila, I was wondering if a 32 or 33 Ford rad would be the same. The car has the stock grill and hood. I'll have to get it here and do some measuring.

My 32 Ford rad. Filler neck relocated and corners cut off top tank.

sloppy glass may mean the weatherstrip in the glass channel is wornout---binding on rolling up may mean the window channel needs to be adjusted...dont need new glass unless you break it....
