saving a 33 ply coupe back east - 01/31/14 07:48 PM

here is a link to my good friend Rick Miller's project.
this car was found in a creek bed upside down and rusting away. Rick has had this car for a few decades now.
my other good friend Ray May lit a fire under Rick and they started to get the car together.
Rick wanted to build a Cabriolet out of it so the top was removed and he found a glass lift off replacement for it.
the car was in many pieces for a lot of years but it is coming together nicely now.

it just goes to prove if you want something bad enough anything can be saved

so here are the pictures I have on my facebook page and a link to the build on the HAMB board

My buddy has a 32 in his garage. Its been sitting for at least 25 years.Worst part is its pretty much done.It runs {has a sbc in it} had all new glass installed, painted, interior done etc.He keeps saying he will get it out but never does. Its an all steel body also.Another friend had a 32 coupe also.It had a Buick nail head. When he died the family scraped it by burying it in a big pit on property they owned. They also buried some early Rivs,Toronados,a 41 military Jeep and more. They didnt want to be bothered with transfering titles.Rocky
