Seeing as this is a Mopar site, gotta ask what your 34 coupe is and what drive train is in it? Then what is the drive train in the 34 the guy wants to trade? I presume the pickup has an off topic drive train.

If everything is off topic powered, what difference will it make as far as we are concerned? Would have to wonder why a guy would want 2 coupes, unless one was a real street driver and the other was a hard core race car. The roadster pickup is pretty sweet, but do you ever drive it with the top down?

You have 2 of something most of us can only dream about having 1 of, so trading one for another is beyond our thought process......So I'd have to say, if your swapping a non Mopar for a Mopar in a Mopar I'd have to say yes.

I'd trade any of my junk for either, I could ruin a sweet ride in no time. Gene

Well, I may be biased, but I've never been a fan of the roadster PU...so if it were me, (drivelines aside) I'd swap for the coupe...

first coupe which is my 34 that im working on i have a 511 keith black hemi going in it its a hard core street car. the coupe the guy is trying to trade me has a cheby in it now but i have a big block mope and trans i would put in it. i thought about driveing this one around until i could finish my 34 my little truck is a fun and different ride its 1 of 5 gibbons bodies made and has won at every show ive been to. but i think the plymouth with my big block in it would be a quick little ride i could play with. i know this is a mopar site but its one of the few that i go to and thought i would get some other opinions about both vehiclesmy truck has better eye appeal i think and i know a whole lot better interior than the coupe and i drive my truck topless when its nice enough to

Which do you want? That is all that really matters.

If you like your truck more, keep it.

Nice coupe but right away you have to swap the engine in it. I would keep the truck.

I guess it all depends on what you want to end up with.
do you want 2 coupes? or do you want the roadster PU and a fast coupe?
I love the mopar coupes but I am not to fond of the wheels or the engine in the blue one.
Yes those things can be changed and you would end up with 2 really cool coupes. I wouldn't mind having that problem, but the truck is very nice piece too.
I guess it just depends on if you are tired of the truck and want a change sooner than later

how far along is your coupe from being on the road? Ron...

P.S.
did you ever get in touch with Jack Mulligan???

my coupe is long way from being done which sucks lol i like my truck and all the attention it gets but its to slow right now and i would put a better motor in it to speed it up some. i just dont know about the coupe i like it and have a goood big block sitting there i havent gotten in touch with him yet

Any pictures of the dashes? Dashes are important to me....you stare at them the whole time you drive them.

What size are the wheels and tires on the coupe? I like the bigger wheels. What brand are they?

What I don't care for are the bumpers, door panels, and routing of A/C hoses. All three of which, should be able to be changed without re-painting.

It is all up to you. Which one would make you happier?

FYI...I think the ford would be easier to sell.

I love old Ford,I'm not crazy about roadster pickups.I love coupes dosen't matter the make they are all cool.Is your truck mostly steel? How about the coupe is it all steel or glass fenders?I like old tin better than glass,I know some times if you can't find the parts you have to run glass. It's hard to tell which is nicer because the coupe pics are fuzzy but if it was a quality build I would trade the coupe,at least it's closed in for crappy weather.I think everytime I take my coupe out it starts pouring half way to where I'm going.LOL
Sorry I just reread your post and you mentioned your truck was glass,my bad.

I'm with Lawfish on this one. For sure that's a beautiful coupe, but I'd want it to be all Mopar, so why not build yours the way you want it and keep that way cool roadster p/u too?

the dash in the coupe needs a little work as in alluminum pieces in place of wood where the glove box and speedometer are the bumper would get lost as would the interior and chevy motor.i would get enough boot to redo the interior the rims are american racing pieces and are 17 inch wheels and i would definately reroute the ac lines when a 440 went in it. i think it would be easier to make the coupe fast than my truck

thats the only reason im considering the coupe is because of windows and the fact i think i can make it quick and still drive it anywhere i want as far as which is built better my truck is a very well quality built ride its better in that way by far

to get my coupe the way im wanting it is going to be a very long process and im not sure how streetable it will be thats thought of this coupe. i could put my 440 in it that went 11.20s in a 3800 pound b-body and it should run in the 10s in this coupe and be able to be driven all over but i do like my little truck just needing the feeling of speed lol
