56 belvedere?

how hard is it to find a 2 door 56 belvedere in decent shape? saw one on the internet awhile ago fairly cheap but could not pick it up at the time. in about 6 months or so ill be in a position where i can start a project and id like to stick a stroked 318 poly in it with a solid front axle.
hopefully by the end of january ill be stationed in spokane washingon, and i can start looking.

hey i just wanted to say that they are elusive, they pop up every now and then. I found mine on Craigslist, and saw another one on craigslist not too long ago as well. Mine was located just above sacramento. the other one was near sacramento as well. Just keep looking you will find one, they're out there! there is a guy on forwardlook.net selling his 2 door hardtop, but he is in oregon. but it is a great deal, has disk brakes and everyting already, doesn't need much...check it out!

i have not heard back, i try to call them too and all i get is automated phone service...how they sell any cars is beyond me!

I just got off the phone with an actual person that works for the company after being on hold for a while. They said they were really sorry for the trouble and that this has never happend before! they are pulling the ad by then end of the business day.

I see they finally changed the picture in their ad. They now have a 4DR listed but even it still says it's a (stock photo). I wish I'd saved the whole first ad but wasn;t it listed as a 2dr before?

I think I would really have quams about bealing with these folks on ANYTHING.
