throttle cable for e body with hemi t ram? - 12/03/11 10:56 PM

i put the t ram on and messed with the linkage man the carbs are stiff
any way it still has the orignal throttle cable (74 challenger 360 4 barrel) and im thinking it is a little long and binding up

the bolt surface on the intake is shorter so i had to put a spacer under the throttle bracket to get it off the valve cover
i made the plate that holds the regulator and made my own line setup linkage dont touch anywhere i also made the linkage arm on the intake
not sure whe the pics are sideways i sure didnt take them that way

You might like to try lighter springs

Start looking at the ratios of the carb linkage...
if you move the linkage out farther on the carbs it
easier to pull them open BUT you need more travel...
basically look to see how much pedal travel you have
to start with then work it backwards to the carbs,
still trying to keep the best ratio with the travel
you have... also keep the cable as straight as possible
