Sorry for the lousy cell phone pics...And I will take a few of the heads in the next couple of days or so, but they are done as well...Flowed almost 290cfm and checked in at 63.5cc's

Clearance for stroke...

Line honed for new girdle....

I used that girdle also. I don't know that it will do any good but it can't hurt. Did you get the W5's?

Looking real good. Your dished pistons looks like my bigblock dished pistons I use. Ron

Looks exactly like the Hughes piece I used. I had to chamfer the notches for rod clearance on mine using the H beams.

Hughes girdle. Ties everything togather, so I hope its worth it for the money...Still beats spending $2800 for an R3 if your not going to build an all out engine.

And the guy selling the W5's is back pedeling a little now. I called him for more info on them and to discuss what comes with them, which generation they are, and where he got them from. For the difference in flow numbers, my cam really doesn't really take advantage of it and mine flow pretty close, so I don't see a big advantage to going to them..Valves on both my W2's and his W5's are the same sizes, and my flow numbers are close enough for what I am doing to stay where I am at, we will see. My heads already have the valve job done and are all set and ready to install. Decked a couple thou off of them for flatness, replaced the guides, and gave them a good going thru.

They look awesome, and I know, even with the loss of the compression switching to pump fuel, this engine may still make the same horse power. We found enough issues to gain some of the compression loss back in other areas, so we will see.
