how to scale an e-body - 11/20/11 10:34 PM
I was lucky to have a friend that had a set of scales.I have super stock springs and about 110# of ballast behind the rear bumper. The car and driver still weigh 3188#. What numbers should I have for best results?

Well if you have leafs in the back the only suspension adj you could make to move weight would be with the torsion bars.
You will just have to keep a eye on your ride height when you start twisting the bars. Make sure you roll car on and off scales after every adj.
You could also move your balast you have in the rear bumper to help even out the weight bias on the back tires.

In order to get a good weight front and back ratio, I have to raise the front end up and not have the 2degree of rake toward the front end. I can get the left rear and right rear within a few pounds of one another. This raises the front end nearly level. The front to rear ratio is 48/52. Will this be correct?
