upper bearing leakage??

i had noticed a few drops of oil on my windshield so i located a bit of oil leaking from the top pulley "snout: for lack of better terms, so i removed it machined down and refit a seal in it with anew bearingetc.. same thing, so ireplaced it with a brand new unit....guess what yep e few drops of oil on the glass no good so whats up???

do you get oil in the intake?to be more clear the leak is at the front case where the cover is over the rotor gears or in the snout?it sounds like you are building some pressure in the case and some have been known to put a vent tube in place of the pressure relief button.

dosent seem to be any oil in the intake and it seems to be coming from behind the upper pulley out of the snout where the bearing seal are, i do not see any other oil leakage anywhere else, i always make sure to vent the rotor gear front case( with the push button vent)when i shut the car off(i do not recomend pushing that vent when the engine is running it makes and big mess!)

thanks for the upgate!that is strange where the leak is!i would say run it untell it stops leaking and keep an eye on the case oil level.i would think it will stop.maybe you have too much oil in it.
