My new car...

well...not as serious as the ones posted already, but these are factory 17x9s painted black, left the lip "machined"
tires are a little too balloony for me though, they're 275/55s, my next set will be a little shorter either 275/50 or 255/55 whatever I think I can afford at the time!

I know its not a mopar but a fun toy for the street. These are the Billet Specialties Street Lite's that I had powder coated to look like the comp wheels.

Question for ya, when they powdercoat, I guess they are able to mask off parts you don't want coated? I was thinking of doing mine as a copy of the black weld magnum 2.0's, so that not all of the wheel is black...just wasn't sure about the powder coating process for that

I just told him what I wanted taped off and he was able to do it. You really have to look close but there are a couple very minor spots where the black bled through but overall looks fantastic and wasn't gonna pay $400 plus per wheel for the originals.

The finish is not bullet proof for sure.It is not as tough as power coat so you do have to be careful and use wheel washers.I went as far as to even take the sharp edge off the wheel side of the washers. The finish is cleared with a urethane automotive grade clear coat when done. Not really any different than the process used on a new factory wheel on the cars we drive everyday.

one more thing I forgot to mention- do you know how hard it would be to remove the powder coating? is there a way to get the wheels back to the polished look if you ever wanted to?
