Thanks for the compliments guys! 440forpower, I'm really pleased with the Caltrac front shocks. My car was apart for 4 years and the combo is a little different, but from what I remember, the weight transfer seems much better than it was with CE drag shocks up front. The car has pulled a best 60' of 1.502 so far. I'm running a low gear set in the trans so that might help the short time some. Ron, sounds like it would be a good race. I just wish I could pull the MPH you are! You car sure is a sleeper!

What rims and tires are those... 453 ?

We had some awesome air tonight, but the cold temps made it hard to hook. I changed the Caltracs to the top hole and started with the Ranchos at 5...spun. Set them at 4...spun. Dropped em down to 2 and was lucky enough to run shortly after the track was prepped again. The car went 6.79 @ 99.59 with a 1.484 60 foot. Hey thats great. Congrats on the new best. For comparison on my best of 10.76 I had a 6.83 1/8 mile time @ 100.29 mph with a 1.50 sixty. So you have a solid 10.70 car right now the way I see it. You and I would be a good very fun race as long as you stop getting faster. Ron

440forpower, I'm not sure how good MAM is for traction. My car has always been inconsistent at that track. I kept adjusting my shock settings down until she hooked and after the good run I made, I made two more passes on the same settings and it just blew the tires off. I'm sure the track temp wasn't real great either so probably a bad night to judge.

Ron, we would be a heck of a race! I'm not sure if I'll keep getting faster. The DA was something ridiculous last night, like 100 feet. It was 2,500 feet when I raced last weekend. You'll blow me away once you get some more passes on that thing.
