with all the little changes, i was destened to hit the 5.99 mark in the 1/8th. well, i did. the best of last night was 5.93 @ 115.86 mph. the best before was 6.03 @ 114 mph. i dont think i have enought time in my life to make one change at a time, so this is what i changed. i put the penske d/a coil overs on, moved the ladder bar up 1 hole, new 29 x 11.00 hoosier's with the standard side wall (i had the stiff side wall before), put the 1" spacer under the carb and jetted the main up from 86 to 90. all said and done i'm please with the over all performance. so now i can finally say, "i'm done spending money"

i'd tend to agree, this 1/8th track (irwindale or toyota speedway) is like 10 minutes from the house and is conveinent as all heck. it passifies my racing needs till i take the duster out to fontana 1/4 mile. the local 1/8th track does not do prep work to warrent much faster cars so i wont run the duster there. they dont even have anything to drag rubber. any how i'll be takeing the duster out to the psca in a couple of weeks. it's best is 8.42 @ 162 mph on the motor. the car is only certed to 8.50 so i'm not looking to go any faster.
