That was cool, but trust me, it wasn't very cool there. Got a kick out of how they prepped the track before the Pro stock cars ran. They were going to make sure last years disaster didn't happen again. There was probably enough goop on the track to rip the soles of your shoes off if you walked on it. Still couldn't hold the funny's and T/F cars. Track was just too hot.

NHRA had to cave on this years date for the Arizona race due to the NASCAR race the same weekend in February. Of course the spin was "Phoenix race now part of the countdown!" (Whoopee

It was hotter than hell! I scored free VIP passes for bringing my Charger to display. I love Arizona and the heat hasn't ever really bothered me, but it was just too hot on those bleachers!
