B body offset upper A arms - 09/26/11 05:08 PM

Where can you get these, and how much castor are they good for (about)? Had the car out for its first pass at Barona drag strip on Saturday and it was a little squirrelly at the top end. The other bad news for me was the sprag went out on the first pass when the tires gripped, slipped, and gripped again in first gear. There was a noise, but no parts on the track so I kept going. Next pass I didn’t really leave the line. Well, we can fix the trans in a day or two, but got to fix that front end before antique drags in October. Thanks for any input you can provide.

What do you have for caster now? You can put ofset bushings in your stock control arms. What is the rest of your front end alignment like?

Well, I have about .5 degree. I have done the offset bushings once before about a year ago and it went from .5 to a little over 1.5. It pretty much took care of some of it. That was a street car. This is my 62 Dart B body race car so I would't mind a bunch more. The front end parts are all new with the exception of the pitman arm, Thanks.
