4th win in 6 finals, 9th time out this season. - 09/05/11 06:56 PM

Won the 422 race at US-13 yesterday. I was really worried going into first round because I had to hold more than I'd like to since we have to dial on the tenth, but the car decided to stop hooking and run within a couple hundredths of the dial all day.

This has definitely been a good season for the Bounty Hunters Dodge, and I won't deny that I've had a lot of lucky rounds. One race left at Atco this season to finish up points.

You and your dad with your girl work real hard. I left around 8:45 as I was so tired and my back was killing me so I was kinda glad my brother ran out. I know your car looked to spin the round I watched but you did a great driving job. Congrats on the win.

Da boy did a good job and beat 3 of the 422 Fords in the last 3 rounds.

Dave Reitz was there in the Bob Banning car, but went -0.005 red in the first round and his opponent threw a rod.

Talk about a rivalry; they met in two finals this year so in time trials Kevin goes 0.017 to Dave's -0.017.

I doubt we will be up there with the Dodge this year, but he should be there Friday nights with the GF driving her uncle's Mustang.

It was good to see you Ron! What round did Gary go out?? I'm sorry your back was bothering you, at least you had fun though.

and Steve didnt throw a rod. There was a crank throw with both rods attatched hanging out the pan. That made me want to

. Steve's been having some hard luck lately.

Thanks Jim! I really do like running this series. They treat the racer really well, and it's nice to have a change of scenery every race. Not to mention they feed us and pay $1500 to win for a no buyback footbrake class. I hope you are having a good season at MIR!

Kevin Gary ran out the first round with a 10.58 on a 10.60 He lifted as the car had run a best of .57 in TT and he thought he braked enough but it must have picked up a tad. We wanted to stay until the final round but my back started to really hurt and I did not have much of my pain meds with me. I would haved loved to stay and see you kick butt again.

Here is my brothers car. He really enjoys racing this class also but he did say its really been a hot summer and real tuff at some of the races because of the heat. You know for us older guys the heat seems to bother us more then when we were younger. Again congrats on a great win.

Between the 422 races and 2 local races where he got a win and RU, Kevin has earned over $5K this summer.

He made more money this summer racing than working at Sunoco. Now where is my cut...

Ron, I know where Gary is coming from. I've been having thyroid problems all year and the heat just kicks my a$$.

I just found out that I'm 4 points out of first place after missing 2 races, but they award 20 points for making all the races (this encourages more consistent car counts, and I understand why they do it) but it means that I have to win the race, qualify number 1, and John and Eddie have to lose by second round for me to win the championship.

Congrats Kevin another great job driving going to try to have my car fixed for atco not sure how that is going to go I have no chance of doing anything in the points battle but I could play blocker for you would be great to see you win the points chase.
