finally made a pass - 08/29/11 03:01 PM
Well it has been to say the least a long hard road to get there. After rod bearing issues and anything else that can go wrong I finally got to make a pass. I was worried about traction as sometimes our local track isn't that great!

Looks like it was a nice clean hit. Are those drag radials on there? What's it got under the hood, I'm assuming a bb judging by the size of that cowl lol

Yes drag radials 295 65 15 went 1.33 60 foot on that motor pass. It weighs 3943 with me in it. Motor is a 588 with B1MCs. I hope to step it up. Lots of nitrous there but I was worried about traction.

Whew that's a lot of weight to move, sounds like its time to activate the spray. You running a fogger or plate system. What are you expecting out of it?

I hate that hood...need something else. I will look for something new this winter! I don't want a forward opening scoop. I doesn't look right on a 70 b body. I raised the motor an inch and back an inch. My current weight distribution is almost 51% on the rear.

NIce,,,,, just think if it was lighter, faster and easier on parts.
