what size jet should i use on my nitrous fuel flow tool?what pressure flowing should i baseline it at?i was told 5-5.5 psi,its a
cheaters plate with .055n/.045f.thanks mike

Dont you use the jet that you are going to use on the fuel size, to set flowing psi? Been awhile since I have done this, so hopefully a nitrous person will chime in.

I remember my friend cutting a jet down to make the tool...but that doesnt help.

And I think psi will depend on your tune up and who you are talking to.

You always flow check with the same size jet, it's just a reference point and needs to be kept constant to know how much of a change you made. 73 jet is the preferred size I recall.

.073 is what I always used.

some good info. sorry for posting info that may have been misleading or wrong. i know why we did it this way, but it sounds like it doesnt really matter.

The flow tool I got from Monte Smith has a .073 in it.

That's a pretty funny thread ......a 20 jet swing EACH WAY is only about a 1/4LB of fuel pressure difference.......That's like peeing in the ocean to raise the tide in nitrous tuneups....
