when adding shims to change pinion angle....... what do you guys do or have done to the locating pin to get it to go up through the shim and into the spring perch

the 1's i have used fit right on the pin....maybe you can take a measurement and open it up to fit without any problem..but i could be wrong..mike

Driveline shops keep them in stock. I had bought some from a place in Baton Rouge, La. A place called Margot's.

They did driveshafts, rebuilt power brake boosters, and re arched leafsprings.


Summit and Jegs may have some to, you need to know the size. They are cut to fit, so if you added more leafs

I've run the bolt up from the bottom and used a 5/16 all thread connector nut, which is about 7/8" long to get the extra length to locate the axle.
