Do you guys think 33 x 10,5" is a good tire or is it a tad too tall causing the car to be unstable at higher speeds?

If you have a wing or enough down force on the back
of the car the tires would be fine(would give you a
larger foot print)

It's been done with Mopar but generally you have to build for a shorter front spring segment.

Talk to guppy (demongup) he has been in the 7s with his demon and has won 3 or 4 8.50 index races here. I would have to say his car is really consisent and is mini tubbed, cal tracs, and 10 in tire. So yes it is very possible.

Start on the high side of recommended tire pressure for safety. You are on the narrow side for rims, and they become unstable faster (lower pressure) Than a wide rim combo.

I intend to get into the 8's with torsion bars & cal trac's.The black brick weighs in at a lightwight 3850 with me & fuel in the car.Rear tires will be 10.5 W or 13X31.The cert is good to 8.50,any faster than that I'm in trouble
