Pro Stock Results, SPOILER if ya havent watched - 08/22/11 02:03 PM

So Im not a big fan of Anderson at all. Dont care for things he said "Im gonna be the one to keep the first girl in PS from getting a Walley" or something like that. Well he did it again. Im sure it didnt bother him at all, it would have bothered me if I was racing her, and won either, but I would have made any negative remarks twords her just cause she is a woman.

I think he said that about 4 races ago, and he knocked her out of the 2nd or 3rd round there.

I really like Erica, and hope she can knock Greg off sometime just to get things "good" in her own head.

Was a good race, and really fairely close. Erica treed him, but he got around her.

I guess Im all for Women in any motorsport, Some guys arent.

She will have another female in the field to contend with in Indy. And she's pretty easy on the eyes

I am kind of glad to see Erica get beat.

I have personally met and talked with her and Greg.

Greg is a decent guy in person.

I can not say the same for her.

But Greg was telling me how much he would love to be in a MOPAR!

Although we know that will never happen.

Greg has earned everything he has, he busted his butt for many years.

Erica cant say the same thing.

If she was not a female, Dave Connaly would be in the seat.

For me, Ive talked with Greg, real aarogent Richardhead, Erica, she brought me back in her tent, showed us some stuff we could see in the car, showed up her shift routine, etc, very nice chick.

I know greg is where he is from hard work, I wont take anything away from him and what he has done, but his personality is similar to oh lets see, Warren Johnsons,,,

From what i know, the sport wants to fly the female flag high.

That is cool with me.

But in the process you see people who might
deserve the job more not get it because of gender.

That is all i am saying.

Erica is a good driver, and a nice person.

Dave is also a good driver and a nice person.

Over the years there have been lots of bad attitudes in the sport.

But most of them were on top at the time.

I wish all the ladies well in the sport.

I always enjoy watching any chick in the sport, and by the way my little girl is around the shop, and around me, she is going to be into cars like her daddy!

On behalf of Dave Conelly.

I have heard stories of his bracket racing...............................

But, he is truely talented in a Pro Stock car. If he is arrogant about it. Well he has a right to be.

It's OK to bragg as long as you can back it up type of thing as far as I am concerned.

this is just the way people are, its true even in real life,
some guys are just down to earth, and others could just care less if if you watched them or not, its is how youre raised , and the inviroment around you while youre raised,,
i have more respect for anyone who has done it the hard way, real life exspereance , rather than, here, some money i'm doing this today,, and never had a glue .

I don't see his comments as "negative towards her" at all. I promise you there is NOT ONE P/S driver that wants to be noted in history as the one who gave "her" that first win. And you're right, it didn't bother him at all. Know why? His JOB is to WIN races.

I'll also mention WHAT ELSE I heard Greg say a couple of races ago with regards to Ms. Enders: "That's a good team over there and they're going to get lots of wins. I just don't want to the be the first one to lose to her." Or words to that effect.

If a Mopar doesn't win the championship, I'm hopeful it will be Greg or Jason!!

If Allen could catch a break, Greg wouldn't have been around anyway. Last 4 races he's done a damn good job of driving, car has been there, and he just can't get the close ones.

How do you think Ken Black would like it if Greg had said "I hope Erice wins today!"?

Screw all that PC crap. They're all big boys and girls. Let them put on their big boy/girl pants and have at it.

I never cared for Greg. This year at RT 66 I had three kids 8,9,11 along and he was great with them signing autographs getting pics with them etc.I have a new respect for him.

I think Cudadoug nailed it.... sounded like to me he has a lot of respect for the Cagnazzi team, and he should! Those cars are running hard!

....if you want to read "arrogant" posts for an example of what they are, just look up some of the old posts in the SS/AH post that Charlie has put up! But there again, he's worked hard, he knows his poo, and nobody can touch him.

I.m not a big fan og GA or JL but you have to respect what they do on the race track. You can count on them to be the team to beat week in and week out. At St Louis a few years ago I was talking to ne of AJs crew guys, Anderson came by on the way back from the scales. I asked him what kind of guy Anderson was, his reply "he's one of the nicest guys in the pits".

The Mopar teams are just not there yet, I don't know whats missing but something is just not there.
