Thats alot of horsepower at only 7600 RPM! Sounds like it would be a very reliable combo. Curious, what are your CR and lift? Congrats, excellent build!

I knew you were making a lot of hp, very impressive. If I remember, you had a billet block and 650 cubes correct? Is it also a water block? Please post a pic or two if you could.

What did you feel fixed your problem with the burning tips? We had that problem with our TS engine and the fix was going a bigger size with Mantons tool steel tips. Not a problem since that change.

Re: hemi 99 dyno numbers - 08/18/11 03:36 PM

I put mantons in it with the bronze cups

Good move. I did the same thing with my Hemi. I wasn't burning tips, but, I decided to go to the bronze cups, as the previous engine builder used an enormous rocker adjuster, that made no sense to me, or Terry Manton.

I only have a wimpy, little 500" motor....

Arc,
Does your car weigh 2400#'s with the driver and full of fuel? That's some motor. Also, what block? 5 cam bearing or 9? Size CI would be good to know and if it's a water block or not. Thanks and nice build with killer numbers.

Wow, that is gonna fly. 1360HP is huge in a Mopar especially at that RPM. So that's the 650CI we saw earlier? How did they make a billet block with water? Or do the heads just cool the motor? Anyway, you east coast Jersey guys make some power.
