What kind of truck? Alot of trucks have seperate fuses for trailer lights. Some even seperate the left and right sides. Check your fuses.

The fuse is in your truck and marked trailer/tow lights. Its is in the fuse box under the hood most of the time.
it is a 97 chevy tahoe everything on truck works great but nothing on trailer they went out at same time. ive checked every fuse in the door ( dash)and all under hood i pulled everyone of them

Does your trailer have its own fuse box
it has a small box for the break away

Does it have any power at the wiring connector that is on the truck? That will tell you if it's the truck or the trailer. Then like the rest said, if it's the truck, find the fuse. Do you still have the owners manual in the glove box? If not, google 97 chevy truck fuse location or something like that.
