Mopar Performance Part # P5155275 - 08/05/11 03:40 PM

Anyone out there with P5155275 sitting on your shelf??? This part # is for the Magnum 360 race block. It's the dog bone that holds the roller lifters it place. Each dogbone is held down with a 1/4 20 bolt and spring. The sheetmetal hold down on stock blocks cannot be used on the race block. I'm building a 426 strocker for a customer and this MP part # is holding me up. My connection at Chrysler told me that there is no stock and no plans to restock in that only 4 kits have been sold in 6 years

Dave,

I agree, demand seems really low and I don't know if they will ever show up into stock.

I'll PM you some more info to get you going.

I also need a set. They have been back ordered forever. I can make my own, but I don't know what length of shoulder bolt they are using or what spring. I would hate to guess wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Joe

Was that kit ever produced? I was told a couple of years ago that the part didn't actually exist. It was designed but never made.

I could've used it in my 340 resto block with a little machine work. That would've saved a bunch of money because the Magnum lifters are fairly inexpensive when compared to aftermarket lifters.

If Mopar would drill all of the blocks for that kit then it would save people a lot of money and it would make it easy to run hyd roller cams in the race blocks. With the dog bone kit there isn't a problem with the link bar interference since the link bar isn't used anymore.
