Is it made differently than a slick, or is it a slick with grooves.
Compound last longer than pure drag slick?

Yes, they are a slick with tread grooves. They're made with the M5 compound, like a lot of their slicks.

I believe they also have a stiffer sidewall than the slicks. It's all I've ever ran on my car.

A bit different construction for DOT number...
Looking for a bit longer shelf life than slick.

On my car had the same wear as a slick. To me it is just a slick with a dot number for class racing.
