MT ET Street ? - 07/30/11 07:14 PM

Is it made differently than a slick, or is it a slick with grooves.
Compound last longer than pure drag slick?

Thanks all for reply.

Yes, they are a slick with tread grooves. They're made with the M5 compound, like a lot of their slicks.

I believe they also have a stiffer sidewall than the slicks. It's all I've ever ran on my car.

thats what I am wondering.
A bit different construction for DOT number...
Looking for a bit longer shelf life than slick.

On my car had the same wear as a slick. To me it is just a slick with a dot number for class racing.

My car liked the stiffer sidewall. I hit the tire fairly hard. I recall I got away with 9-10#'s of air in them

You might want to try the radial.
