Wasn't an easy task either! Final round = 10.239 on a 23 dial, .021 light against an .018 light and a 62 on a 59 dial. Took the stripe by .020! Competitor thought he would back into me and it bit him! Quite the gentleman though, followed me to the pit to congratulate me. That is what I love about this sport, such great and humble people. I will tell you though that Sacramento Raceway has some hitters and made me earn my keep! Bunch of good guys and a well run program!

The feeling of being handed a Wally was very surreal! A memory that will not to be forgotten!

Steve, congrats! I, for one, know EXACTLY how you feel.

I earned mine 2 weeks ago. You will have your Wally from now on, check will be cashed and gone soon.

Hahahahaha!!! Yes indeed, the check is long gone and I only reflect on the Wally! I actually almost forgot to get my check after the race... Too funny!

Thats funny for sure. I did the same thing, went in the tower to get my Wally, and as I was about to go back outside, Lyndsey (the lady that writes the checks) ask "don't you want your money?". I really didn't care about the money right then!
