The standard offset type rocker kits 64790-1 (1.5:1 ratio), and 64791-1 (1.6:1 ratio) are currently in stock. The 64792-1 (1.5)and 64793-1 (1.6) kits with the .290" offset Stage IV type intakes are about a month away, as we're currently manufacturing the intake rockers. Regards, Chase

Looking at the pic on Summit's website, no fulcrum bushing or rollers are visible; also no adjuster. Says "full roller", & "includes shafts", but no mention of hold-downs, fasteners, spacers or ball/cup adjusters. Priced at $536.95.
Someone at Crane should probably ask Summit to provide a better explanation & photos, if only to reduce the # of phone calls. Depending on what one gets with the kit, I could either be a customer or buy another kit from Harland Sharp.

The small block LA 69790-1 (1.5:1 ratio) amd 69791-1 (1.6:1 ratio) aluminum rocker arm kits are currently in stock at Crane. The aluminum rockers run directly on the shafts. The LA and B/RB aluminum kits contain roller tip rocker arms with ball-type adjusting screws and locknuts, new heavy wall heat-treated centerless ground shafts, spacers (or springs), side thrust shims, and assembly lube. No hold-downs, or shaft fastening hardware, are included. Regards, Chase

Unless Crane is changing their parts (and IMO there is room for improvement), what you can expect from a "kit" is rockers, adjuster screws and nuts, shafts, springy-thingies to separate the rockers and shims to stick in between the springy-thingies and the rockers. No hold downs or other hardware.

Are they really over $500 now? Maybe I'm getting old because I remember when they were about $300. For $500 I'd be looking for different rockers.

The current retail price of the aluminum rocker arm kits did increase. The major improvement has been to the shafts themselves. Instead of the former stock replacement grade pieces, these are now a much higher quality item as described previously. Regards, Chase

FWIW the retail price of these rocker kits was $322.00 in 1975. Chase

Understood, but the street price (mail order houses, Mancini Racing, etc.) was still under $350 for the kits as recently as around ten years ago.

Nobody remembers "retail" in this hobby / business anymore, which I know you know as long as you've been in the industry.

I was comparing today's retail price (which is basically what you had stated) to the 1975 retail. What they are actually sold (not just especially what they're advertised for) certainly varies. Just do a Google Shopping search, and check the variations. Thanks, Chase
