They are few and far between, for whatever reason generating boost at low RPM seems to be difficult from what I have been told. Dave Hance's Chevy is a nice looking car, but they still have alot to sort out with their car from what I have read.
Brad Personette seems to be on top of his, but unlike Hance he is running a clutch.

It is true and you can see that most non turbo cars are quicker to the eigth mile. However the turbo cars destroy any advantage they have gained well before the 1/4 ends.Advancement in tuning techniques has been growing as the number of cars increases. It's just a matter of time before any negative characteristics of turbo pro mods get forced to the wayside..

yes fred melanie won the ihra event yesterday w a proline turbo tuned by petty,she was dead at 300ft then ramped that turbo up and blasted by the blown and no2 cars

I'm 99% sure the 53 vette has a wedge headed engine, not the Hemi.

its not a vette with the turbo hemi,its a 57 chebby body style with a mopar hemi and turbo's

I know hance has a Hemi in his, I thought I read someone thought the R2B2 53 vette has a hemi and it does not. Just wanted to clarify the fastest turbo pro-mod is wedge headed and is an automatic trans, not a Hemi with a clutch. But yes the Hemis are still bad to the bone. Back on topic. sorry

actually the engine in the 53 vette Melani drives is a 481X. (which is a wedge design like a big chief) If she was in a 57 chevy this weekend i have no idea about it but i would guess the engine to be the one out of the vette.

im talkin about Dave Hances car,that says nymotorsports on it,,i'm lost with the vette 
dave also is the promoter and man who started shakedown @ etown etc etc,he was one bad man in the day in the streets of queens ny and he also broke the radial tire record a few yrs back with a turbo stang.
