Weight Distribution??

Am fighting traction issues 10.79 to 11.20 from 1 pass to the next (hook once, blow the tires off the next). Cant't seem to get consistency with a clutch adjustment - if I loosen it enough to hook, then I get the big slip
Stick car, stock springs, caltracs, total weight 3960 with driver, 28 x 10" tires, 4.10 gears, caltrac fronts, ranchos rear (got my hands on scales for a week)
Can anyone tell me what an ideal weight distribution would be front to back, left to right?

I don't know what the ideal weight distribution would be for your car but all of the stock Mopar A,B, and E bodys I have weighed had more weight on the front, 51 % + and the left front is the heavest, RF next and then left rear next to the lightest and the RR is the lightest. Ideally you will want the right rear to have 20 to 30 lbs more weight on it than the left rear and the more weight you can get on the rear the better I have two big RV marine batterys mounted behind the right rear tire and as closest to the rear bumper and outer fenderwell as I could get it on my street strip car. If you have bucket seats you can moved the drivers side closer to the trans. tunnel and as far back as is safest also Lots of ways to move weight, some are easy and some are not All cost time and money

Preload the right rear about 50 lbs. Your diagonal readings should come up 100 lbs heavier on the left front/right rear.
Sounds like shocks to me. It takes a pretty tight setting for a stick car. How is the rest of the car set up? Front? Front shocks? Length of rear shocks? They should have 2/3 of their travel left at rest.

so to get weight on the righ rear, either add weight and/or load the left torsion bar? At rest the rear shocks are extended only 3 inches. I tried the shock settings between 9 and 5 (rancho single adjustable) and seemed to work the best at 5. Front end is purely stock (except calvert 90/10) and I think its not all that free but havent figured out how to loosen it up.
Just trying to convince my wife to sit on a bag of salt so I can weigh with a body in it. I won't tell her that I know the weight without her.

Yep Tom, you did it! Now something more to figure out. Nothing like sitting there waiting for the light trying to decide what I'll do if it hooks and what I'l do if it doesn't

LR 966 RR 989
This is with 80 Lbs of salt on the RR, now have to put in a weight box

How about with no weight and you in the seat? You cant get it closer with the torsion bars?

Well been playing with it and added 100 lbs to rr. Weights are
LF 1022 RF 946
LR 957 RR 999
My goal was to get more weight on the RR and seemed to work better at the track, but raced pro and wasn't allowed to use the 2 step and was trying to re-learn before getting knocked out. I didn't. In the limited testing that I did, looks like the burnout is key on this car.
