Drive Works Oil Filters?? - 06/17/11 04:21 AM

Anyone have any feed back on these? I changed the break-in oil out of the `Cuda and picked up a Oil Change Special from Advance Auto and that's what came wit it.
He said there made by Purolator so who knows..
I have cut enough of the standard 30001 Purolator apart and know how they are made, which is pretty well they do have a Nitrel Check Valve and the element is pretty large stretched out.. Blow the equal Fram PH8A away..
I will dissect this thing in a few weeks and report back the findings...

I was thinking/hoping since the part numbers are the same as puralator that they were Puralators.
Castrol oil was discounted if I also bought these filters. It was cheaper to buy te oil and throw out teh filter then buy the oil by itself. So before I actually used them, I was surfing and found this Post.

I work at Advance part time.I've looked at these filters and have noticed that they are made in China,so I don't think they are made by PurOlater. We have another brand that is made by PurOlater and that is the ProWorks which is what Advance sells for commercial folks. They are not that same size as the PurOlater say as in what is equal to the large Mopar filter (PH8A size) that PurOlater sells, slightly smaller and those are the same size as the Motorcraft filter that is also made by PurOlater.
