6-PACK HOOD BACK FROM PAINT SHOP..W/ GRAPHICS - 06/07/11 03:04 AM

Picked up my lift-off hood for the GTX today...turned out very good! The vinyl guy followed my design to the T!

Give me some opinions...good,or bad!

Randy I like the checker board... why not go with a
green 440 to match the car color

Thanks Jim! Mike...2 reasons..the striping on the car is done in red..and in the future,green might be Black...Blue..or dark red! Thanks for your opinion,guys! Just wanted a little something "different"...that's just me!

BTW...this is the vinyl sticker that was replaced.

Course you know you stole my idea as I had this done about 2 years ago when I put my Max Wedge scoop on my 63.

Na just kidding ya man. I did it because I like cool graphics like that on our scoops also. Very nice indeed Randy.

Ron..that's the 1st time I've seen your scoop with the graphics...now that looks GREAT! It looks hand-painted..not a vinyl sticker like mine! Thanks for the kind words!

No Randy they are vinyl graphics like yours. I paid like $28. dollars in April 2009 when I bought them. You cant really notice them in most pics but they were on the scoop when I put the scoop on the car. But yours really look great !! Very cool letting people know what just spanked them with a little personal touch of yours in it. I like it.

Chief..I'd Love to run it at Milan..but I'd have to get a 2nd mortgage on my house,just to pay for gas in the truck hauling the car out there! Memphis to Milan is a lonnnngggg haul!

Randy, I got the hall pass from the wife. Now I just need to get an alignment and I'm good to go! It would be fun to get as many guys out there as we can. Putting faces with names is always nice.

Thanks,Ronnie! Yup..new Year One bezels..replacing the original,scratched-up ones. I HOPE by the 25th I'm feeling good enough to race..it's been a real struggle..especially the last 2-3 weeks!

Russ's 950HP has to be thoroughly tested at the track...as well as Brad's 825 Race Demon!

Randy did you use "Berversatile" vynal graphics as in my cusin?? the checherboard looks alot like our bigelow racing stickets, Still looks killer!!!

Thanks,Scott! No...I ended up going with Rick's(RA Thomas)pin striping and vinyl guy. Ryan called me a few weeks ago and said if this guy couldn't do it,his cousin could. I already commited it at that point..but it took longer than it should have..in my opinion. If I need anything in the future,I'll be sure to get in touch with your cousin! Tentatively planning on a T&T..Ubly,on the 25th. Maybe the Bigelow clan can make it out that day???
