First electronics race this weekend!!! Help!!! - 05/06/11 04:27 AM

My car runs 10.0's @ 135 mph and I need to know where to set my stop at and my delay box as I'll be leaving off the top bulb... I have a #1 air stop butterfly style and a Dedenbaer CC3 box. What should I put in it for delay to start out with??? How about the stop to run 10.90??? How many turns in the stop and settings??? It's also air shifted witha PPP air shifter... Any help would be appreciated!!!

Start #1 Stop and then call Gary, if you need more info.

I have 1.063 delay but you will need to find out what delay will work for you.

You will have to experiment with both. When I run brackets I have between 1.080 and 1.095 in my delay box. BUT have been as low as 1.060 and as high as 1.140, depends on how the car is set up. For instance all out with the launch RPM at 6200 I am 1.100+. Running with it on the stop leaving at 3800 I am usually in the 1.080 range but can be as low as 1.060 or so. Depends on the track and sometimes the lane.

As for the stop you will need to figure a ratio. The Biondo link is a good reference. The key is get it on as soon as possible, you will retain the most MPH this way. Generally speaking you will want to shift on the stop as well. I can post my numbers but they are pretty out of whack for what you are trying so will leave that be for now.

Good luck and have fun!
