Indy maxx oil restrictors - 04/29/11 03:28 PM

Anybody here want to share how they restricted the oil in a pushrod oil indy max block?

I'm thinking it oils the lifters from the back so i could pull the rear 1/8th plugs and make a restrictor to sit in between there and the lifter bore. thoughts?

the lifter bores don't cut into the oil gallery. well not on my block anyway.

If it is drilled for pushrod oiling then make a restricter in the driverside rear galley plug, the orfice should be aprox..050 to .070.Do not put anything in the passenger side galley. The best way is to restrict it at the lifter or pushrod

I just spoke to BIGTIME earlier I sent him a picture of what is in my 604" motor and all the emasurements. He made one and reported back it worked perfectly. I had also sent it to Bg for his evaluation of it. .
