Well I have been working on this for bout a month now.
I got a new 6.1 block
Manley rotating kit
4.050 stroke 2.00 rod
6.125 H beam rods with ARP 2000 bolts
Manley flat tops

Jeff at Modern is doing a set of 6.1 heads and selecting a cam shaft

Putting drag pack manifold going to do a Fast EFI on it as well.

what it the cui gonna end up at?
are Eagle head chambers too small for that?

I only went 4.060 on block so It will be 420" but im tellin everyone its a 426" So thats just between you and me

It this will be about 11.? something to 1 with a 74 cc chamber. Eagle is what like 6? somethin so it could be 12+ easily

Nice, Rick. You really can't lose with the tech that is available with these Gen 3 Hemi's.. Did you see the dyno tests Steff did with our coils? Are you boosting or N/A?

Good luck.. I'm sure it will be show and go like the last.

I'll give you a call on Monday once I fax the dyno sheets to the correct number. Spent all day yesterday at the hospital with my dad. Nothing serious.

hey rick, is there alot of room for opening that intake up? i dont know if you would need to though. are you aiming for more steam than the w9? looks like its going to be a great build. keep us posted.

It would be hard to port. The runners are so long. It might be a canditate for cutting it in half then porting and welding back together.

I have thought about extrude honing it as a option as well.

Well its starting to get a lil closer.

The block is fully machined now. had to clearance a lil where the rod bolt swings.

Its washed and getting ready to assemble.

The heads will be done this wknd.

The camshaft will be a HYD roller, no available solid rollers yet.

I want to keep this simple and use as many stock type parts as possible.

So Im keeping the Hyd roller and the factory non adjustable rockers for now.

Were the Manley pistons out of the hole?
