understanding he broke the engine and is still putting
it back together

I just saw it run 7.15 on ustream from las vegas a couple minutes ago. He must have a different engine in it .

Its from MATS 2011, in the turn and burn competition. Auto-cross time + drag strip time deal...he won it last year.

You think he would lose the skinnies for that type of deal (are they going to slow it down THAT much on the drag strip?)

i was talking to ron a couple weeks ago at irwindale speedway. he was also racing that night running in the sevens. he has a crate motor in in untill he finishes fixing he go fast motor. he's been having fun driving to and from work and everywhere else with the crate engine. the mishap he had with his 500ci. was'nt bad. i'll not say what it was, so that i'm not the shyt starter. hope he does good this weekend and all that attended the mats.
