Wondering if any of the HVH Super sucker adapters have the correct bore diameter for an 800 CFM Thunder series carb -

Anyone tried one with an 800cfm Eddy carb?

Thought I'd try this one again- anyone used a SS with an Eddie 750 or 800 Carb?

Reseachered there web sight. Depending on your manifold etc anyone that works with a holley 4150 series will work with your eddy.they are not throttle bore sized. Any sqaure bore carb will work.

I don't wish to doubt you - but why do they sell one for the 4150 and one for the 4500 if they don't work on bore size?

This is why I decided to ask - because they don't say why there's a choice..

I don't know anything about it but since the 4150 & the 4500 have different bolt patterns..

OK then - I know zip about Holleys so that may explain things

I've emailed HVH so hopefully they'll clear it up.

Any 4150 flange will work with an edelbrock.

Worlds of differences in between the 4150, Carter,and Eddy square bore carbs compared to the Holley 4500 carbs

Major differences, look at the spacer pictures of the two different types, 4500 on the left and 4150 on the right

Really thought I had answered this. What I meant by not throttle bore sized is that there is not one for a 600 cfm holley or 650 eddy or holley or for a 800 cfm eddy or holley. Get the idea? there is just the one for 4150 series holley which interchange with the eddy. 4150 holley equals eddy. They do how ever have them for different style intake manifolds. pick the one that comes as close the the design of your manifold and for the 4150 series carb.

No problem..with the program now.

And thanks everyone for all the help - their website doesn't even mention Edelbrock, so unless you ask..its go figure on how they size them.....

Are these carbs a square or spread bore carb? 4150 is square bore.
