OPEN HOUSE / GRAND OPENING - 03/07/11 01:31 AM

ATTN: All racers.On March 26th we are holding an open house event at our shop to kick off the 2011 race season and to celebrate the opening of our new shop.There will be giveaways,lots of food,A chili cook off,Karaoke,and more.The event will kick off at 10am and go till the last guy leaves.If you would like to come please pm me to let me know how many you are going to bring so we can plan for food and drinks.We would like to make this an annual event.Hope to see you all.

I am sure it will be well laid out,Jeff can out do most guys with his hospitality on any average race weekend.I hope to meet some more Moparts members there!

I've been looking forward to it. It would be pretty neat to get
a bunch of Moparts members and end up an annual event.

Good way to kick off the racing season.

Do you have 'delivery' on the food?? I'm just alittle tooo far away.

Fred, I know how far it is for you.....400 miles.

Bob, Not sure about Akron but, Niles, MI is 200 miles West of Norwalk.

He's about 1/2 mile North of IN line. (South Bend)

90 miles East of Chicago. 130 miles North of INDY.

Thanks for helping me out with that Vic.For those of you that are to far away I understand and you will be missed and for those who can make it we are going to have a blast.I started picking up giveaway items today.We hope to have 80+ racers show up.

FYI, There will be some Chevy boys attending this event,Therefor I think its only right we give out an award to who ever makes fun of them the most.LOL

We are getting lots of support in the form of giveaways for our open house and some have really stepped up and provided us with some nice stuff.Its looking like we could end up with as many as 100+ racers show up.We would like to have as many Moparts members as possible make it if they can.

UPDATE...We have decided to add to the fun by going rounds on the full size practice tree with a $1.00 buy in / winner take all.We would also like to put out a BIG THANKS you to all those who stepped up and provided us with some great give a way items.
Lane Automotive, Jegs, Summit Racing, Napa, Auto Zone and others we are still waiting to hear back from.
Also I talked to Steve Morris this week and He was going to come down for the day but he is giving an engine seminar out of town on that day.

This sounds like a lot of fun.
I just googled it, and its basically 276 miles and 4 and a half hours away from the akron area.
would anyone from NE ohio be interested in a car pool?

All was going good until Vic got going,....

I'll probably pay dearly for that comment.
A lot of door prizes and giveaway items,lots of food,Mrs. Hitman was a hit at Karaoke.Vic broke out the guitar and started picking away some good tunes to show he knows something besides small blocks.I tried to bribe several people to help me load up Jeff's Demon to no avail.

Thanks for posting all the pics for me Vic and thanks for all you help getting things set up.
