T3/T4 turbo on a 95 to 99 neon RT

Has anyone here done this, I have an 99 RT with dual overhead cam motor and a guy local to me buoght a turbo kit for his car but is hard up for cash. He has everything but the down tube in the kit with intercooler. What kind of performance would I see with this kit on my neon? It is a 5 speed. Any help would be great....Thanks all....Phill

Grab some SRT4 pistons & rods from the dealer and swap them in ( They are pretty cheap). The stock slugs won't handle allot of boost.

I'd be all over that kit, I'd love to take a stab at that on my neon- just for kicks- I think a guy could have some fun with it

be very carefull of the ebay universal on size fits none kits for your neon. dont forget about fuel managment, bigger injectors 255 pump and set up a boost ref. reg. if it is very low boost you might get away with a fmu. there is no tuning for the factory ecu on the neons so you will have to have some sort of piggy back or controller. hahn makes a port fueler, it adds extra injectors and a seprate ecu to run them but there is no timing control.. and you could always megasquirt it and have a full stand alone..
