I want to do some flow work inside an old Rat Roaster X ram for a Hemi & I am wondering what you guys are using for epoxy as a filler.

Splash Zone. Highly recommended by Darrin Morgan. Great with gas but needs coated with a clear coat if running straight alcohol. Not to be used on ex ports.

I use Splash Zone. I don't think anything will protect it from methanol.

Last I heard, the plant that made Splash Zone, (Kop Kote, Z-Spar) burned
down and the company who bought them out, had no intention of making
it again. Maybe something has changed. The last batch I bought, was
double normal price. Go figure.

Thanx guys. I did some searching last night & found a few places that carry the Splash Zone Epoxy Z Spar A 788. Price varies, & the cheapest I found is Go2Marine @ $58.00 for 2 quarts. It's more than I need, but I quess I can keep the left over in my boat as an emergency rock scraping repair. Now all's I need is a boat

This is splash zone in a Goodson container. About smallest amt. you will find available.

I use a certain brand of Concrete epoxy for most of my stuff. Adheres a bit better than Splash Zone/Moroso etc. It's the closest stuff I've found to Belzona 1111 Super metal out there in an affordable quantity.

How does this new(?) stuff hold up to alcohol in the fuel? It was the 10% ethanol in today's pump gas that "rubberized" the Moroso epoxy I'd used in my intake.

Anybody ever try JB Waterweld? It says it can be used on fuel tanks.
