30x10.5x15 Hoosier radial slick

What are your opinions with this tire and the following combination:

Duster
3450 lbs
Low first gear 727
Transbrake
4.11 rear ratio
650 HP

Car has ran a best 1.36 60 ft, 10.08 @ 134, on bias slicks

Start with 24psi and you should pickup about .05-.08 in ET

I use the C06 compound which is softer than C07 and doesn't last as long but will hook a little better. I would start at 18psi and go up a pound each pass until it spins then back off two pounds to be safe! You should pick up a tenth with these tires.

Is the co6 compound the lightweight tire?

Also, if I run these tires on rims that had wheel screws will this be a problem?

Yes these are the lightweight 18214 radials! It won't be a problem to run them on drilled wheels

I run them on my car. Usually around 18.5 - 19 psi. My car is just under 3300 lbs. with Cal-Tracs amd mono-leafs. I've been a 1.29 60' and 9.27 foot braking. They work well. Do a light burnout and flip them every 10 runs or so. I usually kill the sidewalls before they wear out. They are also very stable down track, no sway at all and they don't grow which is nice if your wheel opening are tight.

What advantage do they have over the biased ply slicks of the same dimension?

Less rolling resistance is the big advantage among the others I listed earlier. They are faster.
